Thanks to a contest meant to ignite a passion for government in the youth, 11-year old Caroline Gonzalez was named "mayor for a day" in Forney, Texas over the weekend - and she immediately went to work pleasing her teenage base...
"Because I really like Justin Bieber," Gonzalez told E! News. "I like his music and I like him. And I thought, why not have a street in my hometown named after my favorite singer?"
Why not, indeed?!?
In other interesting Justin news: a 23-year old was arrested this week for stealing a cardboard cutout of the Biebs.
